Have to agree with the above post......how does that work when you have teams in abundance trying to get in???????!!!!!!!!!! _________________ My Mum once told me I don't have a lot of patience....

I really hope the new Midland Team Championships proves to be a success, then maybe in future we can tell the Irlam event organisers where they can shove their Northern biased competition. |

Apparantly Garswood 'B' qualified through winning the Lancashire Champion of Champions. We won the Oldbury league so there!! Also Lower Hopton did not get an invite as the Manchester Premier is not recognised by the Irlam organisers _________________ Alright Rob you are hammering me 15-1 shall we get off the green now??? |

I can't believe it either. Its a top team championship and one of the teams isn't even the top team in their club. Mr organiser, hold your head in shame!!!

| what a mockery (if thats how you spell it) how on earth can you play a team championships that has b side in???? its bad enough in our county when b side are in the sam division but to have a b team in the team championships is a joke. unless they come joint top with the a side in the same division. i think the midland team champioships is the way forward and i can see the midlands becomming the palce to be within the crown green circit. with the likes of paul hickman mel evans oh and the birds things are looking up, doesnt look like i need to be looking for that coal infested 2 bedroom terrace in south yorkshire now to be closer to where the magic is. up the midlands.. davo for mayor |

Irlam used to be Top Dog as far as team comps went, now you can enter, even if your Team has won Nothing the previous season..

Welsh boys were well and Truley Hammered against a good side from Stretton... Green was.......umm whats the word......s**t...lol..the green was the size of a field and all fenced in so all we were missing were a few sheep and we were right at home..lmao.. i dont think i have played on a heavier green without it raining??? Not to worry was same for both and they played better than us....
Good luck to Stretton |
